International conference on communication in Down syndrome

A conference on Down-syndrome and communication with the title Communication in individuals with Down syndrome - which future does the research predict? will be organized this autumn in Oslo. The conference will be held at The National Library of Norway, 31 August  - 1 September 2017.     

The topic of this conference is communication in its broadest sense. This encompasses speech, all modalities of language, hearing, understanding, reading and writing, as well as interaction and social functioning. We aim to share knowledge, to present the most recent research on this important topic and to discuss further directions for research. 

We invite researchers and students to submit their proposals. Papers and posters are welcome on all the above mentioned topics.
